National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a global event where amateur and professional writers alike set themselves a goal to start and complete a piece of writing in November.

Participants usually attempt to write a 50,000-word manuscript during the month, but you can set any kind of writing goal. Some writers set themselves the challenge of completing a short story, series of poems, script, or a chapter for their PhD! We all have that piece of writing that we’ve been putting off getting down onto the page - NaNoWriMo is the perfect time to smash out that first draft!

Writing is a daunting task made easier with the company of fellow writers. Quixotic Books will be hosting a writing space throughout November for you to drop in and get those words flowing with the support of other writers.
